高原陸地 不生蓮花 卑濕淤泥 乃生此花

A lotus flower doesn't bloom on plateaus or lands, but bloom in lowland, swampy mud.

Meaning Behind Yangwoo Logo

양우종을 대표하는 상징입니다.

“Yangwoo (兩宇)” refers to the visible universe and the invisible universe. These two universes are connected in the shape of the infinity symbol (∞).
When Qi (energy) flows from the visible universe into the invisible universe, the invisible universe becomes visible, and the universe from which the energy has flowed out destructs and becomes invisible. In this way, the universe undergoes an endless cycle of creation and destruction — a fundamental form of reincarnation. Therefore, all living beings within it also undergo reincarnation. The Mahayana Yangwoo Buddhist Order teaches that both universes are ultimately empty (空), and by realizing and transcending this, one reaches the state of “Yangwoo Emptiness” (兩宇空),” which enters the Middle Way (中道).
